The Character of a Wise Leader
Leadership Begins With Character
A title can give someone authority, but it cannot give them character. Wise leadership begins when a person understands that influence is a responsibility rather than a privilege.
The strongest leaders listen well, tell the truth, accept responsibility, develop other people, and remain teachable. They understand that the people they lead are not tools for accomplishing their ambitions but human beings entrusted to their care.
